The 2008 conference is being held in Sydney, hosted jointly by four Sydney planning programs. The conference is to be held in September. A preliminary announcement for the conference/meeting is below. Further details for the conference including final confirmation of the preliminary timetable will be given when available.
The meeting is proposed for 26-28 Sept over 3 days as recommended in Dunedin. Venue: University of Sydney. The Sydney Committee is considering theme workshops on the Friday as an opt-in day as self-nominated sessions. Formal papers are proposed for Sat/Sun. Some papers will need refereeing also there will be a non-refereed stream. An editorial board has been established for the meeting.

It is also suggested that the proceedings incorporate reports from the Schools 1 page only - to cover Number of students, (ug + pg) structure of course, key highlights and emphasis, new appointments. A Schools business meeting (not just heads!!!) is also proposed, as are significant periods for discussions, etc.
